Optional Links (Gift Registries)

Optional Links (Gift Registries)

What Are Optional Links?
Optional links let you attach any URL to your event page. The most common use is linking a gift registry, but you can point guests to a dress code guide, a parking map, an accommodation booking page, or anything else they might need. It keeps all the important details in one place.
How to Add an Optional Link
When creating or editing your event, look for the Optional Link field. Paste any URL and give it a descriptive label, like "Gift Registry" or "Hotel Block." The link appears as a clickable button on your event page, so guests can access it without leaving the invitation.
Popular Uses Beyond Gift Registries
Hosts use optional links in creative ways. Link a Spotify playlist for a party, a Google Form for meal preferences, a shared photo album, or a donation page for a charity event. It's a simple feature that adapts to whatever your event needs.
Guest Experience
Guests see your optional link as a clearly labeled button on the event page. One click opens it in their browser. It's unobtrusive -- it doesn't interrupt the RSVP flow -- but it's easy to find when guests want it. No hunting through emails for a registry link.
Edit or Remove Anytime
You can update or remove optional links after your event is published. If the registry URL changes or you want to swap it for something else, just edit your event and save. Guests always see the latest version.
