You Can Always Change Your Mind
Life happens, and JustInvite makes it easy to update your RSVP at any time. Whether you initially accepted but can no longer attend, or you declined and your plans freed up, you can edit your response without needing to contact the host directly.
How to Edit Your Response
Open the same invite link you received originally. JustInvite recognizes you've already responded and shows your current RSVP with an option to edit. You can change your status between Accept, Decline, or Tentative. If you're signed in, you can also update your RSVP from the Attending tab on your dashboard.
Update Your Guest Count and Details
It's not just your attendance status you can change. You can also update the number of adults and children in your party, modify dietary restrictions, or edit any special notes you've included. The host sees your updated information right away on their guest management view.
Works Even After the RSVP Deadline
Even if the host has set an RSVP deadline and it's passed, you can still edit a response you've already submitted. The deadline prevents new RSVPs from coming in, but it won't lock you out of updating an existing one. This way, hosts get accurate final headcounts without guests feeling stuck.
The Host Is Notified
When you update your RSVP, the host receives an email notification and a push alert on their phone (if they have the mobile app). They're always working with the latest information. You don't need to send a separate message explaining the change — JustInvite handles that communication automatically.
