You're in Control
JustInvite lets you decide exactly which notifications you receive and how you receive them. Want push alerts for RSVPs but email only for cancellations? You can configure that. Prefer to turn everything off and check the dashboard manually? That works too. Your preferences, your rules.
How to Access Notification Settings
Open JustInvite and navigate to your account settings. You'll find a Notifications section where you can toggle individual notification types on or off. Changes take effect immediately -- there's no save button to forget about. On mobile, you can also control push permissions from your device settings.
What You Can Customize
You can control notifications for RSVP responses, event reminders, event updates, and event cancellations. Each type can be toggled independently for push and email. Security notifications like email verification and password reset codes can't be disabled -- those are essential for keeping your account safe.
Recommended Settings for Hosts
If you host events regularly, we recommend keeping push notifications on for RSVP responses. There's nothing quite like the instant feedback of seeing responses arrive on your phone. For less time-sensitive updates, email notifications work well as a background record you can review at your convenience.
Changes Sync Across Devices
Your notification preferences are tied to your account, not your device. If you update settings on your phone, those changes apply when you use JustInvite on the web or another device. One set of preferences across your entire JustInvite experience.
