More Than Just a Description
Your event description tells guests what the event is about. Special instructions tell them the practical details they need to actually get there and be prepared. Think parking directions, gate codes, building entry instructions, or COVID protocols. It's a dedicated space for the logistics that don't belong in your event description.
How to Add Them
During event creation or when editing an existing event, you'll find a special instructions field. Type in whatever your guests need to know -- you have up to 1,000 characters to work with. That's plenty of room for parking details, entry codes, what to bring, or any other practical information.
Highlighted on the Invitation
Special instructions aren't buried in fine print. They appear as a highlighted card on the invitation page, making them easy to spot and hard to miss. Your guests will see them front and center when they view the event details, right where they need them.
Great Use Cases
Hosts use special instructions for all kinds of practical details: "Park in Lot B and enter through the side door," "Gate code is #4521," "Please bring a dish to share," or "Masks required indoors." Anything that helps your guests arrive prepared and stress-free belongs here.
Update as Needed
Special instructions can be added, edited, or removed at any time through the event edit screen. If the parking situation changes or you need to add a last-minute note, just update the field and the invitation page reflects it immediately.
