Two States, Full Control
Every event in JustInvite starts as a draft or goes live as published. This two-state system gives you full control over when your event becomes visible and shareable to guests.
Draft Events
Drafts are private and only visible to you. Use drafts to plan events at your own pace — add details, upload images, set guest limits, and fine-tune everything before going live. Drafts don't generate a shareable link, so there's no risk of guests seeing unfinished plans.
Published Events
Publishing an event generates a unique invite link and makes the event page accessible to anyone with that link. Guests can view the details and submit their RSVP. You can still edit all event details after publishing — the invite link stays the same.
When to Publish
Publish when you're confident in the core details: date, time, and location. Everything else — description, image, guest limits — can be added or adjusted after publishing. There's no undo, but you can always cancel or delete an event if plans change significantly.
