What Just Happened
You tapped "Sign in with Apple" and saw a banner that said "Apple relay email isn't supported." Here's the short version: Apple sent JustInvite a private forwarding address — something like random-letters@privaterelay.appleid.com — instead of your real email. JustInvite can't accept those. Below is why, and exactly how to fix it in about 30 seconds.
Why Your Real Email Matters
Event invitations, RSVP confirmations, and reminders need to land in an inbox you actually read. Apple's private relay routes mail through Apple's servers, and that relay can be paused, broken, or limited per app. If a host invites you to a wedding and the reminder bounces, you'd miss it. JustInvite asks for a real email so your event communication keeps flowing.
Fix It on iPhone or iPad (30 seconds)
1. Open Settings.
2. Tap your name at the top, then tap "Sign in with Apple."
3. Tap "JustInvite" in the list.
4. Tap "Stop Using Apple ID" and confirm.
5. Open JustInvite, tap "Sign in with Apple" again, and when Apple asks how to share your email, pick "Share My Email" and choose your real address.
Fix It on the Web
1. Open appleid.apple.com and sign in.
2. Find the "Sign in with Apple" section.
3. Locate JustInvite and remove it.
4. Return to justinvite.app and click "Sign in with Apple" again.
5. When Apple's dialog appears, pick "Share My Email" with your real address.
Prefer Not to Change Apple Settings? Use Google or Email
You can skip Apple sign-in entirely. Sign in with Google works on every platform, and you can always create a JustInvite account with your email and password. Whichever you pick, it's the same JustInvite account — your events and RSVPs stay put.
