One App, Three Platforms: Web, iPhone, and Android

One App, Three Platforms: Web, iPhone, and Android

Your guest list spans iPhones, Android phones, laptops, and tablets — and you need an RSVP tool that works on all of them without asking anyone to switch devices or download a specific app. JustInvite runs natively on iPhone, Android, and any web browser from a single codebase. You get the same features everywhere — create events, share RSVP links, track responses, send reminders, and generate QR codes. Your guests never need to download anything. They tap a link and respond in their browser, regardless of device.
What Works on Every Platform
JustInvite is not three separate apps stitched together. It is one app built to work identically on web, iPhone, and Android. Whether you open it in Safari on your Mac or in the native app on your Android phone, you get the full feature set with nothing locked behind a specific platform.
Create events
Add your event name, date, time, location, and an optional cover photo from any device. The event creation form adapts to your screen size — a compact layout on mobile and a wider layout on desktop — but every field and option is available on every platform.
Send invitations
JustInvite generates a unique RSVP link for each event. Copy that link and paste it into any messaging app — text message, WhatsApp, email, Facebook Messenger, Slack, or anything else. On mobile, the native share sheet makes it even faster: tap the share button and pick the app you want. Learn more in our guide to sending digital invitations.
Track RSVPs
Your dashboard shows accepted, declined, tentative, and pending counts in real time. Drill into individual responses to see adult and kid headcounts, dietary restrictions, and when each guest responded. The dashboard works the same on a 6-inch phone screen and a 27-inch monitor. For a deeper look at tracking features, see our RSVP tracking guide.
Send reminders
Guests forget. JustInvite lets you send automated reminders to anyone who has not responded yet. You can trigger reminders from your phone while standing in line at the grocery store or from your laptop at home. One tap, and every non-responder gets a nudge.
QR codes
Generate a QR code for your event on any platform. Download it, print it on a flyer, or display it on a screen at a venue. When guests scan the code with their phone camera, they land directly on your RSVP page.
The Guest Experience: Any Device, No App Required
Your guests do not need to worry about which platform you used to create the event. The RSVP link you share is a standard web URL. It works on every device with a browser:
-
iPhones running Safari or Chrome
-
Android phones running Chrome, Firefox, or Samsung Internet
-
iPads and Android tablets
-
Windows laptops and desktops
-
Macs running Safari, Chrome, or Firefox
-
Chromebooks
Guests tap the link, see a polished invitation page with a sealed envelope animation, open it, and respond — all without creating an account or downloading an app. The entire flow takes about 30 seconds. They can include their adult and kid headcount, note dietary restrictions, and choose between accepted, declined, or tentative. This is a deliberate design choice. Every extra step between "receive link" and "submit response" is a chance for a guest to abandon the process. By keeping the RSVP in the browser, JustInvite removes every barrier.
Mobile App Advantages
While JustInvite works perfectly in a web browser, the native iPhone and Android apps offer a few advantages that make event management even more convenient:
Push notifications
The mobile app sends push notifications when a guest RSVPs, changes their response, or when your RSVP deadline is approaching. You see updates the moment they happen without having to open the app and check manually. This is especially useful for larger events where responses trickle in throughout the week.
Manage on the go
Your phone is always with you. Check the guest count while talking to a caterer. Send a reminder while waiting for your coffee. Update event details from the parking lot of the venue. The mobile app puts your entire event dashboard in your pocket.
Native share sheet
On iPhone and Android, tapping the share button opens the native share sheet with every messaging app on your phone. Pick WhatsApp, iMessage, email, Telegram, or any other app with one tap. On the web, you copy and paste the link manually — still easy, but one extra step.
Dark mode
JustInvite supports dark mode on all platforms. On iPhone and Android, it automatically follows your system theme. On the web, it follows your browser or OS preference. Every screen, button, and text field is designed to look clean in both light and dark mode.
When to Use Web vs. Mobile
There is no wrong choice — you can switch between web and mobile at any time and everything stays in sync. That said, here is when each platform shines:
Use the web
when you are setting up a new event from scratch. The larger screen makes it easier to write a description, review event details, and upload a cover photo. Also ideal if you are on a shared computer and do not want to install an app.
Use the mobile app
for ongoing event management. Push notifications keep you updated without checking manually. The share sheet makes it easy to forward the RSVP link to new guests. And the app is always one tap away on your home screen.
Use both
for the best experience. Create the event on your laptop, then manage it from your phone as responses come in. Many hosts do exactly this — set things up on a big screen, then monitor from their pocket.
One Account, Every Device
Your JustInvite account works everywhere. Sign in on the web, on your iPhone, and on your Android phone — all with the same email and password. Events, guest responses, reminders, and settings sync automatically. There is nothing to export, import, or transfer. If you create an event on your laptop at 9 AM and a guest RSVPs from their phone at noon, you will see that response on your iPhone, your Android tablet, and in your web browser the next time you check. No manual refresh, no delay. This also means you are never locked into a single device. Lost your phone? Log in on any browser. Got a new tablet? Sign in and everything is there. Switching from iPhone to Android? Your events come with you.
